During my career I have picked up some topics that are dear to me
I regularly engage with fellow designers, developers, and stakeholders. For instance, I might request a designer to review my work, ask a developer for input on a wireframe, or invite stakeholders to participate in workshops to gain deeper insights into the customer value of specific challenges
In recent years, I have become increasingly interested in the way teams work. How does the design team collaborate? How do designers communicate their ideas to each other and the organization? I love helping companies tackle these kinds of questions to bridge the gap between design, business, and technology.
I take pride in creating well-documented designs and encourage my peers to do the same. It helps design teams to enhance their work, stakeholders to make better decisions, developers to collaborate more closely and organisations to ensure continuity over the longer term.
Although I would not call myself a UX researcher, I'm not a rookie either. Over the last couple of years, I have conducted many interviews to discover unmet customer needs and new potential business opportunities. My aim with research is not so much in finding the truth but in helping teams and organizations make better-informed decisions.
It was great working with Ernest. What I like most about him as a designer is his very high productivity and his pragmatic approach without compromising details or the bigger picture. Oh… And did I mention he’s a nice guy?! A definite hire!
During the research phase of our project, Ernest made sure to push both for quality and quantity. When the time came to pitch a solution, Ernest his prototype absolutely helped to make it a success. Also, his design of the pitching deck definitely helped the team to get approval to go to the next phase!
Ernest is the first person I call when we’re doing new Google Design Sprints!
Ernest is an original thinker who is able to come up with new solutions. The work for our innovative planning application requires a high level of abstract thinking. Ernest is able to do that. Besides being able to design a good user experience, he is a nice person to work with and does he deliver what he promised.
I can totally vouch for the curls. He almost never has a bad hair day.
